Default How to Clock turbine on TC78

question, i know how to clock my compressor housing, but i need to be able to clock the turbine side so that oil inlet and oil outlet or vertical, right now, there is a slight angle to it, and id feel more comfortable with them being perfectly up and down??

can it be done??or am i strictly limited to the bolt holes on the turbine side??

Don't you clock it the same as you would the compressor housing?

seemed to me that i couldnt even remove all the bolts, since two of them are under the corner of the center section. but the ones i removed looked like they went "into" the housing itself, through the bracket

Just loosen the bolts. They don't have to be removed. If for some reason you do need to remove them, loosen them all, clock it to where you can access the ones you couldn't get out before, then remove them.

Yep, as long as it's like mine and 90% of all the other turbos out there, should be just like the cold side.

It's tough to get a wrench in there sometimes, I've had to grind down a wrench to fit in between the bolt and the fittings on the center section of the turbo. If it's a used turbo it might take some liquid wrench and some finesse to get the turbine side to move.
