people are going to come in here and tell you to do a search or that this topic has been beaten to death, the oiling issues have pretty much been solved but as everything there are pros and cons. If you are doing a all out race car leave the STS alone if you are just doing it to make your car fun then by all means it's a simple project. I personally enjoy it. So if you are looking for something that you can bolt on in a matter of hours and take of just the same for whatever reasons and have the car in the same condition as before you put it on then go for it.

Are you set on a Turbo? I would think with how meticulous you are with your car, you would want more show then go. I think a Procharger would be a good compromise for you, either that or an APS kit if you can find one, but as you already know with any type of "show" money has to be paid. Either cheap and not so pretty or Pretty ad not so cheap.
