There is honestly no words that can describe the beauty of that set up.....all I can say is as you are breaking it in, before you go to the track...put some good tires and a T56 and go RAPE A FEW SUPRA'S ON THE HWY.....that would be one sweeeeeet sounding Video!!

Good luck on the track and have fun!!

THe mechanical end of the car has been done for about 6 weeks now. We are just trying to work through the prototyping of a Gen7 piggyback system. THis system will allow the factory dash and accessories to function as normal, while allowing the Gen7 to 100% control air/fuel and timing of the motor. It will also allow the factory ALDL connector to read as well, so you would potentially be able to pass a "plug-in" emissions test.

The car runs, and it sounds good.

the "piggy back" box is back in the hands of the manufacturer. We should see it again this week. We think they have the last bug worked out, so we should have it running again this week.

What are your thoughts on a glide instead of a 400? Just asking because I have been debating it myself for mine. Thanks.

Hey Tom, Any more updates on this Piggyback system? What would it cost to upgrade the Gen7 system I recently purchased from you guys? I would love to be able to use my gauges... Thanks!

getting the factory tach working again is hit or miss... powering the stock computer back up with the cam and crank signal seems to work on some cars and just NOT work on others. my car has everything exept tach still.. i have wired it to work, and it does work, but when it does a horrible misfire comes along with it..

i'm hoping it's a weak sensor or bad connection somewhere but was told that even some 'pro's' can't always get it to work.

All of the factory gauges worked fine, the only problem was that the Gen7 box, was not getting a consistant Coolant Temp reading although the stock gauge and PCM was.

They changed something in the circuit board, and are supposed to be shipping it this week. We are confident all of the "bugs" we will be worked out at this point. Pricing should follow.

The cost for the converter (piggyback) box and harness will be $649.99. The Accel Gen7 DFI with wideband is around $2800.
