Default Quick Question

I'm about to install a basic sts ls1 kit. I'm only staying at 5 lbs. of boost for now. I have 42 lb. injectors. At only 5lbs. of boost, is the stock fuel pump enough, or do i need to upgrade?

I would do a Walbro 255 in tank. That'd probably be fine, and it takes like 30 minutes to install MAX.

Thanks, man. Texas Speed has a good deal on the Walbro pump kit.

Man, you work fast! How do you do it in 30 minutes? It took me a day to cut a access hole in the body and modify the pickup basket.

Were you using scissors?
I just chopped the panel (after drawing out the outline in sharpie) with an angle grinder (carefully!) and pulled the safety ring off/lines off, yanked the basket, and used a cutting wheel (dremel style) to mod the pickup basket, chopped and soldered the wires, and voila! Easy enough.

But I guess with all that it took like 2ish hrs realistically.

Yeah, did some research and gonna do the trap door. Looks much easier. Which pump is simplest to install? Modifying the basket with the Walbro or running all the wires with the Racetronix?
