And if he does a couple searches for diesel turbos... he will see that the question has been asked many times, and I have yet to see the answer change. "No".. I was more encouraging him to do a little learning, to expand on this subject.

People would need to see pics, and for you to describe any markings on the housings of the turbos. The chances are still very very slim... IF it was a gas generator, it was likely not a large enough turbo to function on a LS1, plus... the turbo is by FAR not the most expensive part of building a turbo kit...
