does/can the turbo 400 stall have a lockup on it like a 4l60? Like where the trans locks the stall after 45MPH? Or am i stuck with a crazy stall and 3 gears at 70MPH? I might just save up some money once this project gets rolling for a junkyard 4L80E
Th400s never came from the factory with a lockup converter (there have been a couple of one-off that people came up with on their own, though).
I would save up and do a 4L80.....lockup + overdrive + strength of the th400.
