If you want to get the most out of your meth system you should be advancing timing and pulling out injector fuel when the "shot" comes on. Not pulling timing - doing that I think is a waste of HP's.

Why are you taking away fuel when you add meth?

I have it set up too pull timing when and if the iat's rise meaning my meth kit isn't working but when the meth kit comes on the tuner pulled some fuel to allow for the meth or it would be way rich.

What kinda AFR's do you guys get when your using meth and timing? Normally on FI it's around 11.0 - 11.6. and around 16 to 18 degrees I believe.

Every car is different, you want to keep your afr with the meth on 11.50.

I think i'm gonna spend the money and buy a system that integrates with the ecm with all the extra sensors. Anyone already running some of these?

Snow makes it I think, or makes something that does the same thing at least.

I am using their Maf kit...it's actually what is saving my butt right now (not the correct way but working nonetheless). It comes on just before my maf maxes out and then increases flow as my maf hz's rise above the pcm's allowable limit.
I run a 625ml and a 225ml at 220psi, still have yet to spray too much...then again I honestly don't know how much of my fuel up top is meth vs pump gas. I do know my afr drops below the lower limit on my WB as soon as I go into boost, 11:1, and stays there throughout the pass. When I was on the dyno the afr was bottom 10's but I have changed things a bit since. I have accidentally run 16psi on pump without any kr fwiw.
Tick tick tick on stock engine....

All we use is Snow performance.

This is what the safe injection is.

I had my car tuned a few months back and I have the snow kit, The tuner had me unplug it and refused to tune with it. He said that he has seen to many engines blow when the meth kit fails in anyway...

When a tuner refuses to tune a car with methanol it is because he does not have any experience with it,or he is not comfortable with it.Or many other reasons. Not to mention there are a lot of cars out there that are runing on methanol any making substanial amount of power. As always anything can happen when a car is on the dyno. There are no guaranties.
The evaporative effects of the water/meth mixture, plus the octane boost, allows you to run more advanced timing, and boost, thus increasing power. Methanol having the octane boosting effect, you can adjust your AFR's with tuning, and be able to run leaner AFR's than you would with just pump gas alone, with less risk of detonation, and also make more power.
