Have some questions, new to boosting LS1s So I'm getting ready to build a high (1,000+) HP turbo Ls motor, but I have some questions
How much HP can GM heads hold iv been told the theay have thin flanges and can crack under boost. But also seen 800+ WHP boosted motors on stock 241 ls1 heads.
Are the extra head bolts that the Lsx and other aftermarket blocks offer a must or are they somthing that's not needed?
If there not needed is the iron block (LQ) much stronger then a ls1,6,2,3,7 block?
if heard and read so much BS I don't know what's true and what's just just peopl talking out there ***
My set up is a 94mm single turbo in a 2000 Camaro
