pt88- 25x12x3" intercooler too restrictive?
I need more room in the front of my car and the only logical thing to make smaller at this point is my intercooler. Currently im running a 31x12x4" intercooler and im looking to switch to a 25x12x3". In addition to the much smaller intercooler I plan on running a twin pump direct port methanol setup on my FAST 102mm intake manifold.
Would this intercooler be too much of a restriction with that kind of boost through an 88?? Im not really worried about IATs as much as I am pressure drop. I don't want the turbo putting out 25psi and the intake manifold only seeing 15. I can deal with 2-3lbs drop if need be.

Could you fit one of the medium size vertical fin Treadstone FMIC's? The TRV25O9 or the TRV25S9 are 26.50" x 15.00" x 3.50" and will support 1950 cfm. They are both rated at a 2psi drop at 1300hp.
They are not a sponsor so you will have to Google them.

Snyper, have you thought about fitting a w2a chargecooler in the intkae maniofld (like the PD SC guys do)? then you could fit a nice big (but alot smaller than your current FMIC) in front of the rad. Just a thought.

I actually just noticed those and was told by just about everyone that vertical cores(like those ones) are MUCH more efficient. Depending on the size I might try to fit one.
