DD turbo car
DD turbo car i know theres plenty of people on here that dd there FI cars. but how many people really put miles on them? i drive my car 45 miles one way to work. that 90 a day and nearly 500 a week just tgt work. not counting the weekends.
i wonder how parts would hold up.
i know the trans on my 99 would die fast, but as long as the tune was good, id worry about gas mileage and turbo wear and tear

as long as you are not getting into boost your gas mileage will not suffer
get a built tranny and it will be fine, other then that the only thing i would worry about putting miles on is the turbo, but it can be rebuilt

I think the most important thing for reliability is that the guy who is doing the work knows what he is doing. If everything is planned, designed, and executed well there is no reason a turbo ls1 cant be a 100 % reliable daily driver.
my main concern was the mileage on the turbo. but i see duramax's and other diesel engines, there turbos last forever.
