whats your idea of the ultimate street FI motor..

:secret2:
something to past the time for those that want to play along..

if the cash was not a concern

what would you do to your car for the ultimate turbo/supercharger set up

give full details and expectations...

this might be interesting.. everyone has different ideas of a "street car"

im sure some one will say something about a top fuel dragster with turn signals :gtfo:

begin..

yelo04goat 12-29-2010 02:58 AM

well i will start..

start with an ERL 6 bolt block probably some where just under 400 c.i.
some 6 bolt heads from ALL PRO heads or something like that in the 235-350 cc runner range..
shoot for about 9.5-10.0:1 compression with some good pistons probably wiseco and some strong rods..
would wnat to keep it looking as stock as possible so i would probably run a LS3 intake
and the grunt would come from something like a gt47-88 or 91mm turbo something that could make 800 on lower boost 10-15... and then i could turn it up over 20 maybe close to 30 if the need calls for something in the 1200 hp range..
this would be backed by a bulletproof 4l80e with the works and the a built 9in IRS for the back with some 3.46 out back and a nice locker...

i wouldnt want a huge cam being i want to build a sleep type that people wont think it would be all that fast...

have a 4000lbs sunfire and i want to play the inoccent game would want to drive the hell out of it and put some miles on it just like a real street car should... but also have a strong 9 sec setup...

bulletproof and fast as hell... that would be the goal...

KING Z28 HAWK 12-29-2010 04:09 AM

Not the one your building now little man! :D jk always calling that thing a sunfire hurry up and get back so you can start building that thing
I would go with something similar to this... https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...-lsx-pics.html

P.S. don't make any babies over there

yelo04goat 12-29-2010 04:50 AM

oh funny guy!!!

i wish i could afford to build something bigger thats for sure...

im tapped out on the 347 tc76 build!

few motor months ill be back and will start building!!!

untill then i come up with stuff like this to pass the time

KING Z28 HAWK 12-29-2010 05:21 AM

I can't even afford a build :( I do have a cam n goodies, stall, O and your old spray :D but I can't afford a tune so none of it is going in the car :(

Jontall 12-29-2010 05:23 AM

RHS tall deck 467 cid. Mast MOZEZ heads, Sheetmetal intake, Twin Precision Pro Mod 88mm turbo. Should be good for 1800hp on pump gas.

That's the direction that I was thinking but it would be stuffed in a 81 Z28 body. Complete modern retrofit suspension and modern interior, pro touring style but it's gotta work. Full stealth exhaust with electric cutouts and a little baby hydraulic cam on E85. :secret2:

Oh, it would be black on black with black tinted windows and the black Weld Stars. No chrome and no stickers/decals.

AES Racing 12-29-2010 09:51 PM

4.5" BS Billet Block 10.2" deck, 4.250" stroke, 6.8" rod, RO7 style Heads.

Twin pro mod 94 turbos

blue00ZZleeper 12-29-2010 10:24 PM

oh shiiit!

tomz28 12-29-2010 10:46 PM

hell if could just have a 1000rwhp pump gas car, with a 325/50/15 or 315/35/17 tire that dead hooked on the street id be happy as hell just to have that.
that would be something to have i think. Right?

yelo04goat 12-29-2010 11:47 PM
