how much hp can a tvs 2300 make with the proper engine spec'd out for it looking at flywheel hp, talking with a shop they say 1k flywheel hp with there engine . now i called magnuson today just to see what they had to say and they advised me the tvs 2300 would not come close to 1k flywheel hp at 15lbs of boost? |

we've made 900 with a 427. that was about 13 lbs. It didn't have a jackshaft so we couldn't spin the blower any harder. With the correct engine and closer to 18 lbs of we could make 1000hp. I did some simulations on this the other week and it looks very possible. The 2300 flows about the same air as an F1C procharger and we've made 1000 with them. |
Agree that it should be possible. Something like the AES 399 with good heads, E85 and 11:1 compression should make 1k at the flywheel. Just get that blower speed maxxed out and hold on, it would be like driving a modded Duramax around! |
We have done a 2300 on a 408 that made 770 RWHP 780 RWTQ on just blower. If we can get all the restriction on the inlet side away we will be around 800 RWHP I believe. On a 100 shot it made 895 RWHP and 900 RWTQ. This was on E85. Zach |
