Default forged 347 d1sc reliability

What mods should be done on a 700rwhp car, daily driver. I need motor to last as long as possible. Factory ls1 block, factory crankshaft, eagle rods(arp bolts), mahle pistons(20psi limit), ported 243's with patriot gold kit, ls9 cam, texas 7.4 pushrods, arp bolts on the bottom end. factory rocker arms, factory lifters. Pvc was removed, driver side capped off and 1-way check valve in-between intake manifold and passenger side valve cover. I have a breather on the oil cap. The port on the throttle body is also capped. Running only mobile 1 oils

Why did you link to that thread? Doesn't seem to me like that guy's thread was a forged engine though I admittedly skimmed it

It was a forged engine if you read the thread.

You're in California, I'd add methanol injection and use 100% methanol (no water) since you only have 91 octane. Bob

I agree with bob meth all the way 100% no water i run VP M5

I am on a LS6 block @ 15 PSI forged built 740 RWHP 346CI

I would add a LSX girdle to your list if using the stocks caps like me, with the custom ARP stud kit , this will make your bottom end rock solid,

I don't know what kind of compression you plan on running, but I'd keep it under 9.25:1. With meth you might be able to get away with more.
