LOL, mature. NGK doesn't list a TR7 but lists a BP7EFS as an equivalent TR6 that is one step colder.

So that means it's gotta be the same thing right... the parts store guy gives you a different part number than what you asked for just because it has the same first three characters?

The BP7EFS is known as the TR7, yes you can say there is no such thing but the part number BP7EFS is commonly referred to as the TR7.

That would be stupid considering it's not a TR7 and the manufacturer has a different nomenclature for a reason. It doesn't have a V-power electrode like all the other TR plugs and it's slightly recessed compared to them as well.

you've been on this thread picking fly **** out of the pepper. OK I'm running a plug that is "similiar" to a TR7 but not a TR7.

No he is correcting you, your just running the wrong plug. If you would of asked before you bought the wrong plugs I am sure nicd would of guided you the right way. No pun intended.

No, you've been in this thread continuing to call a plug something that it isn't and spreading that garbage. What you're doing is exactly how incorrect information spreads on the internet and people start repeating it like it's a fact. It's not similar to a TR7 since that plug doesn't exist, shares none of the characteristics of the TR series of plugs, nor does it have the model number TR7... and you continue to argue about it and tell me I'm nitpicking.

No wonder I hardly reply on here anymore, always somebody who wants to argue about something so simple.

Just for gee wiz, Hawks Motorsports lists NGK 7 heat range plugs as NGK BR7/TR7. Can we be done with the petty bickering now?

You just renewed a thread from 2011 and then ask if we can be done with the petty bickering about calling a plug something it's not? Really? And generally people go by what the actual manufacturer of the product call it vs what somebody calls it on the internet.

For whatever reason (and could be ECU related) BR7EF's (V-groove) dont last long on my ride...they start to break-up under boost after about 1k miles or less. The ES version seem to be doing better. These are the same plug but with a solid electrode.

Default Yep, I did

Well, I may have accidentally revived a thread from 2011, my bad, but evidently some people were still interested. Moving forward...

So the BP7EF's have a groove, and the BP7EFS don't
Or are they BR7EF's, my box has BP, not BR on it, stock #3526
is the R for resistor?
The P plug has a gold color to it
