Does it matter what a turbo comes off of?

I saw a turbo that I am interested in. The turbo is a Borg Warner turbo 88mm with a T4 flange and it came off a john deer tractor. Could you run that on a car? Would it work?

what are the wheel dimensions? housing a/r, etc.

Diesel turbos are usually usable, but not optimal.

what is the a/r of the exhaust housing?

what size if the compressor wheel?

what trim is the turbine?

The T4 flange has nothing to do with any dimension on the turbo. that is like identifying an engine by what size throttle body is on it.....worthless info.
