Suggestions????
I need your input I have a forged 402 compstar crank and rods steel top ring ported datrt 225's with 205 int 1.625ex valves and manly blower pistons. Between 9:3 - 9:5:1 ls6 intake 8an feed and return with boost ref regulator dual walbros in tank and ati boost a pump 80 lb high emp injectors stock computer stock throttle body eddlebrock fuel rails procharger d1 with the twin 4.5 coolers 3.7 (ithink) pulley looking for 15-16 lbs. More if combo will 1 7/8 Texas speed headers and x pipe with cut outs a 4l80 with trans brake and manual valve body haven't bought the stall or rear yet but thinking 3:23-3:55 with 32-3500 stall.
What I need is suggestions on best cam stall and gears and any other needed changes ( only if I really need it) and what is the most power I can safely get out of it. The car will see a lot of street duty and track time. Also it has a 150 shot wet. I have had a couple cams suggested and want yalls input looking to run it to about 7k
One is comp cam #54-478-11. 621/624 lift 235/251 @.50 with115 lobe sep
The other crane cam #1449121. 590 lift 224/232 @.50 115 lobe sep.
These were reccomendatoins from the Manufacturer of each. To me its a big gap.

Ok this is making me nuking furs. Today I have talked to 5 different shops all of which have mad completely different suggestions. From 590 lift to 670 lift and duration changes about the same. Now I know why I have always had nitrous motors for the most part. Anyway all of you are used to the boosted apps so chime in here.

You live in Godley? We used to play them in bball. I went to Axtell.
The cam that Bob recommended has been proven time and time again. You could go that route or have Patrick G spec you one out.
I think a 3:73 gear with a 28" tire would be ideal for the track and you will hear that alot. Im thinking around a 35-4000 stall, but dont quote me on that because I dont have that much knowledge about stalls, yet. Im thinking about going auto in the future.

Yeah most people have never heard of godley lol. Thanks for the input 3:73's are what's in my old setup and I liked em but I figured with the lower first gear of the 80 and the fact that I will be spraying on top of the procharger that a higher gear would work out good and give me more room on the top end.
