Default motor advice for my truggy

im building a truggy for off road preruning use and play. idk if i will need a way different setup then a street car or not. specs- 34-3600lbs it is front engine, rear is long travle 4 link and a full floating fabed rear end not sure on gearing yet. all tires will be 37s. I would like to run a supercharged ls1 and i gota stick with fuel injection. I would like to get 680-750 hp. i wana keep the aluminum block. i have no motor and no parts starting fresh my chassis is almost complete and im starting the motor next.
heres what it will look like http://stengerbuilt.com/Clients.html

is it cheaper to get a junkyard ls1 and rebuild the shortblock or just by a shortblock and by all the other parts? because i think ima need to upgrade a lot of the parts anyway. is there any thing i can keep on the stock ls1 and still make that power? if i can keep the heads and intake maby ill just go get a junkyard motor.

I would just buy a built engine from somebody like Erik at HKE.
