Default boost, e85 injector limits?

anyone have an idea of what the approximate hp limit of 60lb injectors would be on e85 if i set my base fuel pressure to 80 psi or so? the reason i ask is i already have the 60's and a fuel system that consists of 2 bosch 044 pumps and im trying to make 700 or so whp( stock bottom end) and id rather not shell out the $$ for injectors good for 900 whp if im going to be limited by the bottm end anyway

60s on pump gas would get you to 750ish rwhp. What I have found by experience is that you need nearly double the injector when going to e85 as well as double the pump. If you're going to e85, sell the puny 60s and get 96s or 120s.

I have 83's and my tuner thinks that 680-700 is reachable on e85... and skinnies made over 700whp on some 80lb iirc with e85

We have made 500whp on the 60s@ 58psi base, and 755 with the 80s @65psi base on e85. Both of these vehicles had automatics in them, and both of them had enough fuel pump.

Oh and 825rwhp with a 6sp on the 80s at 65psi base.

I'm planning on ~700-750 RWHP on E85. I have a Magnafuel 4303 pump from a sumped tank, -10 feeding 1/2" ID rails w/ 83 lbs (@ 48 psi) injectors, an A1000 boost referenced FPR and a -8 return to the tank. Will be running 58 psi base pressure, boost referenced.

My research says that I should have sufficient fuel w/ safety margin for that power with my setup.

Thumbs up

Ford Motorsports makes 160 LB injectors and I hear they're good.

I'd set my limits at 83# High Impedance, for whoever tunes it will have to scale the crap out of your tune if your ECM has the 63.5# IFR limit.

iirc, skinnies has triple walbro 255s and 80lb/hr injectors at 855rwhp/1150rwtq through a glide.

Im hoping to stretch my 60s to 600whp through a 6spd. we shall see.
