Default Will my budget cover everything?

I'm bored with my cam only car. And I got the ok from the wife! My budget is 20k. I want to procharge,punch/forge motor, heads, boost cam, 9inch, and beef trans(t56)? My goal is 700 to 800whp. Can I do this or do I need to save more? thank you

might be tight...depending on parts choice in the motor and which heads you want, the amount of labor you do yourself, etc

are you thinking all new components or picking up some used stuff?

budget for the fuel system...it isn't cheap as one would initially think...by the time you get all the necessary fittings, adapters and whatnot.

also keep in mind if you race it at the track all of the safety gear you'll need...10-pt cage, full fire suit, etc.

Well I didn't really get to look into it, I just got the ok this morning lol. But I'm not going to start pulling her apart till fall anyway(Don't wanna miss the nice weather!) So I'll be able to save up some more doe. For 7 to 800whp how big should I bore and what are the heads I should be looking into. Also I was thinking of ordering my rear sooner than build start since I'm on 4.10s in my 10bolt with 325dr. What gears should I get them to put in it since I'll be going FI.

can you do anything yourself or are you going to have it all done?

If you can do a lot of the work then you should be able to for well under your budget. If not.....i have no clue.

The only thing I'm not doing is the motor. never assembled one and would not trust myself after spending all that money. But should be able to install everything

trust me it can be done...im in the process of doing it now...but all the turbo stuff to make the kit was around 2000 bucks (2 turbos 2 wg's and all the metal) my rear is 2100, and my motor was around 2800 to forge.and 1400 for a stock rebuilt stage 2 trans.

if on a budget it can almost be done for less then 10k. i do though already have well over 25k in the car from the years...that helped. im keeping all recipts and am aiming for as much hp as possable then im going to show people how little i spent twin turboing my car...i think most people will **** once they see how much i did for how little while using good or new parts
