Default 6.0 CR ? for boost.

i need help, im looking to build 6.0 boost, stock and after market rods and pistons, 317 heads. how those this sound,4.00 bore piston -12invert with .54 or .60 heads gasket . would this bring me to 9.4-1? turbo would be a 75mm thumber/1.08ar4.5dp.

^^^Read that and tell me if you can read what you wrote.

If you understand what you wrote then you need not to be messing with motors.

Its not hard to figure out what he's got.

6.0 for boost,
mixture of stock and aftermarket parts in the lower 1/2
4.00 in bore with a -12cc dish with a .54 or .60 thickness headgasket
75mm turbo with a 1.08 a/r back housing and a 4.5 in downpipe

Ide just ask a local engine builder in your area to be sure. He might even have a low compression engine laying around that somebody changed their mind on and never paid for the machine work .You would be shocked at how many guys do this to machine shops

With a -12cc piston you should be around 9:1 with uncut 317's. My old 370 was 9.2 and worked out really well. Id stay between 9~10:1 for the street.

well i just got back from a long drive tonight , was pick in up the 6.0l motor has low compression cyl#7 n cyl#8 reading 50lbs. i think it might be ring?
