Default Final- Twin 76 C5 coupe

My last build went way off course because my goals kept growing.

The ride- 2002 Corvette coupe. Started bone stock to the paper filter.

As far as a solid roller, check it every oil change, you should not have to relash it, if you do you probably have issues.

I didn't realize solid roller was so little maintenance. Thanks for posting up Phil. I have never ran anything but hydraulic and haven't put much thought into it until I decided to go with more motor and let the turbos snort. 7500-8000 limiter would prob be perfect for my setup.

Tracy- the holdup here is me deciding on the engine and waiting on it to arrive.

It's prob safe to say I'll be pushing the IRS..

If you don't intend to spin much over 7600, no need for solid.

165 is top @ 7000 rpms on a 28" tire for me. 8000 is 180ish IIRC I'll have the power to tag 165 and wish that wasn't it. I will drive it on the street enough that I don't want to go less than 3.42s. I figured much over 7000 would really be pushing it on a high powered hydraulic setup. Thoughts?

I'm not home to measure things. Does anyone know how much room you can make for an intake by cutting the cowl on a C5 while still leaving the windshield in tact?

looks like you can cut up to 4 inches from the inside lip and through some of the plastic near the wipers. This would not touch the windshield but it would be visable when the hood it closed though. Two inches would be the max if you didn't want it exposed with the hood closed. Hope i understood your question.

Perfectly Tracy. Thanks man. I've been looking forward to having this thing running too but I've changed things up so much since I started it's been dragged out for about three years total now.
