Default Pusher or Puller Fans???

I cant seem to get a straight answer on what fans or fan to run. I will have a T70 LM7, LS6 cam, 15 psi, FMIC. I have the Griffin radiator already, need to know what to use fan wise though. This will rarely ever see the track, need to stay cool on the street

If you can fit pullers, do it.

If you are on a budget, i would try the spal 12" fan , you can get it for $90. I havent personally had enough time to test it in warm weather, but it seems to move the air.

do you think the HP spal 12" is worth the extra hundred bucks? Do you run a single 12" spal?

The only way it would be worth it to me is if the $90 spal didnt keep my car cool and the HP moves that much more air to make the difference. I dont think i will have cooling issues any longer with this new standard spal.

alot of people hack up there stock puller fans to work with the griffin radiator. id say thats really budget friendly and it shouldnt be too hard to do. there are some pics of it in that long, "vertical radiator" tread somewhere around here. i was going to do this and hack up the stock fans to fit. also read alot about puller fans working really good/easier and more reliable than pusher fans.

These are the fans that are tried and proven. You asked for a straight answer

agreed

edit: just to clarify, i have these as a pusher setup. if you can fit a puller with a shroud it will be more effective, but if you cant, these WILL work as a pusher

Puller fans, when at least molded to the radiator as well as the OEM setup (and spaced out as much), draws air more evenly across the entire radiator getting the most out of the entire setup.

I just mounted the FLX-420s on my setup as pullers cause I didn't like the pusher idea with and AC condenser up front. They are only rated at 2500 cfms but hopefully it will work. Turned out great though.

Sure I'll grab one. It'll be a bit though working for a week or so.
