sts kit build thoughts
Ok so i purchased a sts kit for my 99 z28. I wanna hear some thoughts of you guys. goal for me is to make high 400s or maybe even low 500s. Mods done already are pacesetter lt's, ory, volant cai, tb spacer, and thats really all that is going to be on until i get my kit on. But i am going to run 42lb injectors, and procharger twin cooler intercooler. is it going to be possible to make these numbers at or around 8psi?

Search this forum for STS builds and you should find hat you need and more.
Reccomended to ditch the LT's and go back to stock mani's, of course you will loose the CAI. Wrap the exhaust with DEI heat wrap from mani's to turbo. Larger fuel pump, proper BOV with correct lb spring, modify or ditch the STS pcv system, and do not drive untill properly tuned!
It is possible to reach 490-500 on 8-10 psi but I would not run more than that. Just my 0.02s

i took my long tubes off and sold them. went back to stock manifolds and thermal coated them. i suggest you do the same. my engine internals are stock and i made 480 rwhp and 520 rwtq at 8# with my turbo. i dont see why you shouldnt make that power. just make sure to take it to a good tuner.

Just a suggestion, but twin intercoolers may be stretch and increase lag time a little bit more. Not to mention there is the fact that it will be a little more complicated with the piping. A good single front mount intercooler should be able to foot the bill. There are plenty of ones on ebay that can support 500 to 600 horsepower.
