Default Designing a fuel system for Future FI

Ok, have been reading a lot of users sigs, links etc and setups as much as possible. I am looking at a turbo setup next year and want to start getting my thoughts in order.

1) Fuel System:
Sumped Tank, more for Drag Racing or just cuz the design of the fuel pumps?
Does the aluminum tank weigh more than my plastic?
Twin Walbro 340's, need more info on how to get the second on in?
or A Bosch 420L external In-Line pump/Areomotive model?
-8 line from the tank to the rails, looking at Nates Rails (in Blue), 57 or 60# injectors, oost refernced regulator (any brand in particular??)
Return line ???
Ok, so not sure I would need to sump the tank or not. But lets say No. So, I hook either another walbro up (unless Racetronics finishes later models kit), and would have to install a -8 fitting in the top of the module right? Then I can use the factory feed line as a return line? This seems like it would sve much time, $ and hassle. But, if it aint going to work, I dont need to do it. I want to get all the prep done first.

2) Trans is good. But maybe a different stall, right now a Yank 3000 stall. No idea what STR etc????

3) Would like to stay 12 bolt, cant imagine a turbo auto leaving the line hard enough to grenade a maintained 12bolt, 33 spline, 1350yoke etc.. if not, then 9" it.

4) What else???

TIA,
Charlie.

That 3000 stall is probably really good for boost. A SY3500 would be my next alternative.

I would do a single 420, I have one on my stock tank, running all braided lines up to the rail and back, the Speed Inc. high flow rails, going to be getting the 60# from mototron this week, CAS regulator up by the rails, and some 100 octane.....

I'm putting that to the test of anywhere from 16-18psi from my D-1SC procharger on my 372c.i. motor.....

Stay tuned for details in the next week or so......

Thanks BIGBOS. I take it you had to weld on a new pickup tube to the module top? What size also?
