Default Turbo headers (start your build the right way)

Hey guys, just wanted to let eveyone know we updated our power adder section with Stainless Works turbo headers. So anyone starting a turbo project should stop by and check them out. Especially, if you have big horsepower numbers in mind.

Do the down/forward headers clear all accessories or no?

They do clear all the accessories but I wasn't real happy with how close the collector is to the power steering pulley. It is about 3/16" with the belt sitting flush with the outside of the pulley. I have talked with Josh @ KyTurbo and going to have to get one of his plates to move the power steering in. I don't have abs either but I think it would have to be relocated or deleted. Mine are the 1 5/8" primaries with 2.5" collectors. I do have them mocked up in the car with all the accessories if anyone wants pics.

Thanks for the info. When your building a custom turbo kit on a F-body...nothing is easy. That's why I love the idea of these, any time you can make the process easier you gotta jump on it. These headers are a great example. I'll be starting an F-body project with these myself some day. Just wanna finish the chasis before we start.

Still trying to get things mocked up but these should give you guys a good idea. All the accessories are in there factory location except I don't have the altenator on my mockup engine.

The passenger side kicks in to clear the AC accumulator/drier. The up and forward stainless works headers both come out straight I believe but they do not clear the strut towers in a 4th gen fbody. I believe Josh at KY turbo has also taken those and flipped them forward and down. He has some pics floating around somewhere.

So are these the down and forward headers in the up and forward position or are they down and forward in the D&F position? I am confused on what headers to use for a 4 gen and keep all accs...

The ones that I posted are the down and forward ones that you need for a 4th gen to keep all the acc. The ones in the red mock up car are the up and forward ones flipped in the down position which you would have to relocate the altenator and lose the AC just like the truck manifolds flipped.
