A/W intercooler
seen some talk about frozen boost intercoolers. i got 2 just like this on http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT and was looking to either cut one end off of each and weld together so the compressed air runs through both cores or weld them side by side so the air can split and half through one core and half through the other and then build the ends to connect to the charge pipes.
which one would be the best. i know the second idea would have less restriction but the first idea would basically pre cool the air so the second core would cool it better. the cores are about 4"x4"x10" and will have ice water going through them.

I just picked up a single one of those.
What kind of setup are you running that you need to run twice the core sizeÉ (just curious, as i have no idea to your question)
I think the first mentioned idea is better.

its a stock ls1 with a 80mm. i am looking to run 2 bc with the single intercooler after the burnout the air temps are about 90 then at the end of the 1/8th they are 135-140 and that is all with me turning the pump on in staging
