Default Who all is using the QMP Kit (except RR of course)

I see supersp0rt is using it, from his sig. Anyone else? What are your likes/dislikes with this kit? Anyone using it on a built 346-348? Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,

Charlie.

Stock longblock, T63, Coated LPE intake, BMR K-member, SMC Alky, PT3400, full rod-end rear suspension.

It KICKS BEE-HIND! No problems installing on my back. I'm doing a few "clean-up" moves, like battery relocation, moving the FMIC forward away from the radiator to fit my trans cooler in front, and attacking the reverse lights (from the trans swap).

A few others have complained, but I found it to be an easy install. That's why I refer to it as the ultimate bolt-on, because it's no more complicated than doing an exhaust, intake, cam swap, headers, ported heads for the H/C crowd. You just have to do it all at once so it takes 15-20 hours, depending on how mechanically inclined you are, and your tool/hoist availability.

The ONLY thing I didn't like is that Rob won't call me back so I can pick up his old T76, for an upgrade....

What about the quality of the kit? Do you guys have the stage one kit? Or the stage two kit with the custom tuning and bigger injectors? I was wondering if it was possible to just buy the headers and tuning, I would get the turbo, intercooler and intercooler piping myself. I would want to mount everything and run everything differently, and get a bigger turbo, T88! I think you could possibly save money that way and have a custom kit to your exact liking? Just my 2 cents, don't know if it's possible?

Do a search for my install experience. All in all I'm happy with the kit. I will be getting a built motor and upgrading to the T-76 at least this season. Need...morrre...power.

Hey Charles, the kit will run good as long as you install it right and get tuning done.

My car never made it to a dyno. I washed the rings so it's getting a new bottom end.

supersport is your a4 built? I'd love to have a turbo kit but my trans doesn't like that idea.

yep...its the stage 3 unit from speed inc. i doubt a stock tranny would last very long with all of the torque...

yea i would definitely get mine built before putting it behind that torque of a turbo. Wish turbo's weren't so damn expensive..

You gotta work on your 60' mang!

no joke...but i am only on nitto's in my defense. between seeing full boost off of the line and only using dr's, it took me quite a few passes to get it that "low"!
