Default turbo oil drain?

Can I place my oil return line on the pass side of the oil pan. I thought I read somewhere its better to place it on the filter side. I cant do that because my turbo is mounted on the pass side and the angle for the drain would be bad. thanks

Im pretty sure the oil pan is symmetrical so you should be able to place it on either side. Id avoid having it around that sensor(I think its oil level?) though.
