Fuel system question
There's actualy a lot of options out there right now, its basicly just a balance between simplicity, price, noise. Your always going to want to go faster after while so its best to build with room to grow if you can afford it.
Guessing its a street car with stock ecu, best choice would be injector dynamics 2000cc(expensive, but the best) for injectors, second choice, something from fic's catalog, 120lb, etc.
As for pumps, there's even more choices. If you have an ati crank dampner, you can run a belt drive fuel pump. Or if you want to stay electric there's weldons 2345-a (noisy), twin bosch 044, magnafuel 4303(mixed reviews to if it will push 1k on e85)and 4703(streetable ?).
Use a good size fuel cooler, and there's nothing wrong with stepping up to the next size fuel line that the pump calls for, both on the inlet and outlet. And be sure to use pre and post filters.
And I'm sure they all work, but I hear nothing but good stuf about weldons fp regulators.
Hope this helpes, Derek.
DroksFormula hit most of the points. Im using a 4303 on a GTO Im building, looking for 1000 also.
FIC has the same high impedence injectors as the ID2000's but lots cheaper.
Id recommend -12 to the pump, -10 feed, return, and vent. Some sort of cooler on the return. Derale makes some nice coolers with 1/2" npt fittings.
What turbos you running?
There are a lot of variables to discuss & getting 1000 streetable RWHP on E85 is not trivial. Considering you have a 5.3, you need to be careful on injector size. 2000cc will give you idle issues, even on E85.
