is this a good turbo? add on craigslist in my area is sellin a 60 trim t4 turbonetics turbo for $350 obo, is this a good turbo to run on the ls1 cars? planning on only like 8lbs of boost, 500 hp give or take, and if so is $350 a good deal? guy says rebuilt with only 100miles on it
Sounds please a good deal but 60 trim doesn't really tell anything about the size. If its 60 mm on the compressor side then you might be able to push it to 500 rwhp, just know that the Turbo would be maxed out. Also the eaxhaust side is really important also, it would need at least a p trim exhaust wheel and minimum .96a/r. Try to get some measurements from the Guy if possible. Again if it is 60 mm its on the small side for a single Turbo setup, but two would work excellent. Get some measurements of the inducer and exducer on both the compressor and the turbine.

ight cool thanks, ill get ahold of the guy and see what he has to say and let u know, came off a 5.0 mustang turbo set up, i know its a smaller engine then the ls1 but still v8 so why i wanted to ask lol
