Intake/TB help
Intake/TB help I need help choosing an intake/tb combo for my build. I am not looking for 100% max effort and I want to be able to drive it on the street, alot, with 1-2 trips to the track a month.
390" AES Iron block stroker
Pat G custom grind cam
AFR 230c heads
th400 trans and 9" rear w/3.50 gears
All this in an 85 Chevy Truck so hood clearance is not an issue.
I will drive this combo N/A for about 6-12 months while I gather the turbo parts. I have narrowed my intake choices to the following 2:
1 Vic jr w/a 4150 style TB and hat
2 ProFlo XT with 90-92mm TB
Which of the 2 is more "street friendly? I don't really like the looks of the stock style intakes and don't want to spend $1000 plus for the fast setup. When I get the turbo, I will see a max of 15lbs boost.
