Default Would a fuel system for a turbo setup be good for others???

Ok, if I upgrade my fuel system, say a Sumped tank, -8 line, Bosch 420l pump and inline filter, regulator and rails, with some XXX# injectors and use the stock line as a return, would this be just as good for a turbo as a SC? I know a nice Nitrous set up wouldnt argue with it, but would be way way way over kill.
Thanks,
Charlie.

The fuel system is the best place for overkill for safety. IMHO over 550rwhp needs a supply line, rails, return line, properly sized injectors, wire kit and a single Walbro intank up to 600rwhp and a dual Walbro intank over 600 rwhp. It's overkill but you'll never kill the engine due to low fuel pressure/lean condition.

I would have to disagree with one part you stated..... A single Walbro would be good for lower rwhp but twins....... no. The reason is if one pump goes out you would never know it in normal driving fuel pressure would be fine..... until you floored it at the track and when you needed it most its not there.

Charlie with the big pump you quoted you shoud have more then enough pump. Bigbos and myself are using that pump and for some reason its not working you will know and you dont have to cut a hole in your car or drop the tank to fix it.
On another subject...arent you going to Afganistan?? I talked to my buddy Rob who said he PMed you and said he would see you there......

There's a bunch of dual Walbro users that would also disagree.

I agree that one pump would keep it simple....but how would you know if the pumping capacity starts to fall off on the single pump? When they start to fail some don't cease to pump....they pump less and you go lean. Same problem with a secondary pump failing....you really need an A/F guage.

I am pretty much set on the Bosch 420L or similar, for the reason of one going out. Hell I have lived with worry since I blew the fuel line in the module about a month after the Walbro install. I was spraying a 150shot outta the hole on that one. Good thing is, if there is NO fuel than you cant detonate!
Kyle, yep I was looking at a few of setups here, and thats wy I came with the one above.
I got his Pm and returned, will be a trip to meet up in AfghaniStang. Looking forward to my return more each day and I havent even left yet. But, a year in Afghan earns me a unlimited shopping spree for my car when I get back-via Wifes help as well.

Now, SC or Turbo. I am pretty much out of the nitrous ideas now. Although while in Afghan I will be working on a new style of Direct Port.
