Are those leaks in the intercoolers blowing out a lot of air? You really need to have a big leak to have a loss in boost.

Almost all intercoolers will leak that much. It doesn't really amount to anything you can measure as far as a boost loss goes.

The leaks seems like they're very small but the drivers side intercooler does hiss, which is concerning

How much pressure did you have in the system during that test?

not very much pressure. It was the lowest the regulator would go and didnt show on the compressor guage(crappy gauge)

I plan on repairing the intercooler but just to make sure it's necessary I'm going to bypass the drivers side intercooler and see if it makes most boost

Intercoolers typically will restrict 2-3psi, so you should see an increase.

Time for a front mount intercooler with 3" charge piping.

Cost is roughly $200 plus time to fabricate it.
