Default Modifying Procharger j bracket? Good idea?

Has anyone modified the Procharger j bracket by grinding out some of the metal where the adjustable tensioner pulley travels? I think if I grind some metal out it in the groove it will allow for my Procharger belt to be tensioned further..

I would send your J bracket off to SDCE or Bob at burte speed for the astar mod, and have a spring tensioner added to your bracket. Here is a pic of my SDCE...

The Aster bracket is a whole new bracket, it doesn't start with the stock J Bracket. Here is a link to it. http://shop.brutespeed.com/Aster-Aut...er-Bracket.htm Bob
