Default Wha size turbo

Wanting to do a 5.3 iron block to 3.903 bore get flat top wiseco piston and the scat I beam rods with stock crank.I want to keep it a daily driver maybe 500whp on street and 600 at the track. So what specs should I be looking for on turbo and piping

a Masterpower t70 will get you your goals, my only question is why go through all the trouble to bore and forge it out for 600hp? there are plenty of people who have done that with a stock cubic inch shortblocks for a long time.

U think I should be lookin for on that setup and still stay daily driven

people have made over 600rwhp with a zo6 cam in a 5.3 and everything else stock on like 15psi with a masterpower t70. look up username "parish8" and search for the fairmont

Ok but how long will that be reliable I want to make it a 347 motor and prolly do the z06 cam swap

Numerous people have had them going for years. i honestly dont think its worth punching it out for just 5-600hp.

Ok bro...making the 5.3 into a 5.7 will help reach your power goals and also help for a reliable build. There have been plenty of people hit anywhere from 500-650 RWHP and it be reliable for years on STOCK shortblocks. If you are going to pay the money for a forged setup, doesnt mean you have to stick with your 500-600 goal but it does mean you can put it closer to 800 or so and still be pretty reliable. In fact...I have personally met, known and dealt with many guys running close to 800RWHP out of a forged 347 and run it for years before they had a problem, and it was NEVER a crank, rod or piston issue. There are some the have these issues ....its just very rare
