Default TVS 1900 or 2300 for ls1 gto?

Im having mixed feeling about which one to go with. I dont want to forge the motor unless it breaks and if I do would like to stay with stock cubes. Car has full bolt ons and would be happy with 550-600whp.

The only downside to going with the 2300 is the cost and the fact that the 2300 won't be quite as quick into boost in the lower rpm range. Smaller blower will feel more "lively" on the street. Depending on how it's set up, the 1900 might have full boost at 2500 rpm and the 2300 might not get there until 2800 to 3000 rpm with the same set up. Some would actually rather have it that way. Part throttle boost will be less with the 2300 also. You'll just have to mash the go pedal a little harder with the 2300 to get the desired effect. If you're good with 550 to 600 with a lite drivetrain, the 1900 is probably the better choice. If you're wanting those numbers with a 4L80E in a truck, the 2300 would be my choice.

Going on my 2004 gto with a m6 trans. I already have an insane setup on my 06 gto but don't want to go thru rebuilding the whole drivetrain on my dd.

With that being said my original goals for my 06 were a modest 500whp. Now its sitting around 800 but breaks parts left and right.

Yup....often, the easy(er) part is making the power. Getting it all to live and play nice with the rest of the car can be the tough part

I have replaced the complete drivetrain in my other car just to keep from breaking parts. Now its time to address the traction issues.

It would be completely senseless to buy the smaller unit. When you want more, it will cost a fortune.
