Default Procharger bov question.

some of ya know im installing my D1SC here in a few weeks, and ill be doing a custom FMIC. Ill also be purchasing the "Big Red" Open bypass valve/BOV from bob over at brutespeed, unless i can find a used one. but anyway, i know the bov is loud, but is it louder if mounted closer to the blower? say i mounted it just like procharger's FMIC setup right before the intercooler vs mounting it in the engine bay right before the MAF. im just worried if i mounted it pretty low, that it would get wet if i got caught in the rain, and debris qould get in it and ruin it. thanks

Debris can't get in it, so you don't have to worry about that. When it opens up air is coming out of it under pressure. The only problem that I see when mounting the bypass valve down low is that it tends to kick up a lot of road dust. The boost pressure is pretty constant, I don't see it being louder if it is closer to the blower. Bob
