thoughts on cam choice Been looking at a few cams for my build. I'm doing a tc76 on my stock 6.0 with a m6. I'm shooting
For 700rwhp and I want something with a little chop at idel. The cam I'm looking at is
226/232 duration .578/586 lift on a 115 lsa. You guys think this cam should work good? Idk but it seems like it would.car is a roll race car if it matters.

Well normally you don't want much overlap with a turbo. Exhaust vs. intake split and lsa are the main determining factors in creating overlap or negating it. Splitting the exhaust 6 degrees from the intake is a good split, but with the 115 lsa it will help keep the overlap down, but will still create a nice noticeable idle due to the exhaust split. Should work nicely and still have great manners. My 227/224 114 has almost no chop unless it's cold once it's warmed up it's nice and stealthy.
Old thread, but I've run this cam in a lot of diff combos now, diff cars. Its a great all around cam...I call it the new 224R haha.

Awesome, good to know.thanks for digging this up and leaving some info. Im still gonna run this cam and plan on using iy this summer. Just working on my tuning abilities and getting the rearmount ironed out.
