What exhaust wrap?
yea DEI originally came out with it. but i think jegs and or summit got there own version too now.
ive used it twice on hi temp painted mild steel tubing and it works fine,
cant say on a cast header. or stainless. i use on tubular mild steel parts without any problems. hasnt caused any warpage to my knowledge on the parts i used it on.

well im just trying to get my turbo setup to spool faster..I believe mine are mild stell and are tubular. Does lava rock have any other benefits besides its high heat tolerance? As in does lava rock work better on coated headers? figured wrapping and coating would be like wearing a belt and suspenders.. Maybe Ill swap the big 1.05 a/r housing off in favor of another one.
