Default 6psi on stock injectors?

Tryed searching and couldnt find exactly what i was looking for but

Basically finished my turbo kit, gettin it tuned up and was wondering if i could go 5-6 psi with my stock injectors, idk if being intercooled matters for this but i do have a FMIC and its rear mount turbo, thanks!

I think stockers would be more than maxed out at 5-6 psi.

not to be a dick but if you cant afford larger injectors right now.... WAIT. t76 + stock injectors = nothing good...

seriously even considering stock injectors is crazy. injectors are cheap... i just bought siemens 60# injectors today for a whopping 370 bucks shipped. just get injectors now especially if your paying for a tune. trust me i pushed my stock injectors to 100% but that was n/a at 13:1 and maybe 430 rwhp... turbo is going to need to be richer thus taxing the injectors even more.

its different if you just want to run stock injectors until you get to your tuner and then install bigger injectors. just stay out of boost, otherwise dont do it.

your going to lean out and detonate, dont do it get your injectors rebuilt to a bigger size, there is a vendor on here that can do it for 200 bucks, the fuel injector outlet. dont risk your motor just cause you want it up an running asap. and even 6psi is actually a good amount of boost for a stock ls1 with 10.1 compression. intercooler helps but definetly get those injectors then you might even be able to crank up the boost

Might be a dumb question but if i bought those 60lb ones u linked (which i probably will) can i install them and drive with stock tune till i get dyno tuned or does he pretty much have to do it right before it gets tuned?

And to replace them u just pull fuel rail off then just unplug unclip pull old out push new in clip and plug correct?

It probably will be hard to get it to idle on the bigger injectors.

You will completely flood the motor. I tried to crank mine with 42s before tuning and it ran horrible. There was no way to drive it.

take the injectors with you, it only takes a few tools and about 15min to change them out once you get to the shop

I know its tempting, but don't go into even the slightest bit of boost on the way there. Your number 7 piston will not last.

afr is ok. just be careful. injectors could be fine at lower rpm but if you run high rpm's they could already be maxed out and boom. you could potentially go static on the injector at lets say @ 4500 rpm after that your leaning out

lets say your injectors are opening 25ms to fuel the motor, well they're gonna go static at 4800 if my math is right. which means as you spin the motor faster your moving more air and the same amount of fuel because the injectors are just staying open.

oo ok, so basically there already open max at 4800rpms and cant dump more but i need to be dumping more after 4800rpms and they cant, hmm ight, wouldnt my AFR spike lean or lean out more then after that or no?
