built a 5.3 for a buddys Camaro.
2005 5.3 with rings opened up all stock bearings and bolts throughout.
ls9 gaskets and studs.stock 799 heads.
isky triple 12 cam and upgraded stock rockers. all truck assesories intake . t.b.
stock manifolds and I made a 2.5 hot side
$800.00 plug and play microsquirt with deka 80# injectors.
vsracing 88/83 turbo
single eliminator pump on e85.

back half 75 Camaro 3550 lb with driver.

has ran a best of 9.17 @ 147 mph @ 23# boost. has been running for 4 years now with a couple hundred runs at 20 ish # boost

motor was a cheap build but the fuel system and ptc converter cost more than the engine.

I've done a $600 single setup, $800 twin setup, and $1500 quad setup.
Its so easy to do these cheap if you have a chop saw, welder, and aren't prejudice against Chinese parts.
