Default LQ4 or LQ9

What's better for boost? I have a lq4 in my garage just want to do this right. I hear these motors stock w a Turbo will push out some major HP numbers but only time will tell

both are basically the same, the lower compression will let you run a lil more boost on pump, but the higher compression of the lq9 will help spool the turbo just a lil faster

either one will work lol

The LQ9 has better rods unless the LQ4 is a 05' newer engine.

the LQ4 i have is from an 03 Denali i was told. Well both should work well. I hear that even a stock 6.0 will be nasty with a turbo that the bottom ends hold up really well.

if it really came out of an 03 denali then it is an lq9. the lq9's came in silverado SS's, denalis, and escalades
