Default Turbo kit

Looking at buying turbo manifolds and piping from a member here, just curious if anyone has seen this setup before, owner says some guy in Denver was producing these kits. Retains A/C and the passenger crossover tube goes under the kmember?

I'm mainly looking for a review from anyone else who has this kit, don't wanna buy something I'll regret seeing as I already have truck manifolds to do my own.

There is more than one copy kit on ebay, But this does look like the phamspeed kit, I have one of the original ones on my car, had a hard time finding information on them when I bought mine, so ask away.

Seeing as its all polished kinda made me think it was a ebay kit but I wasn't 100% sure so I made a thread. Is there anyway to tell the difference between the original phamspeed kit and the ebay knock off?

When I spoke to a guy who made the origional phamspeed kits he was most interested in seeing the welds to verrify it was an origional kit. My kit has double welds on all the flanges, I will say from your pictures yours does not look like an origional. The way my merger collector is welded appears to be different.

Here's an up close pics of the welds, hope this will make it clear or not if this is an original kit or not.

Man you get what you pay for. IMO I would contact Josh@KY-Turbo. If you want to keep your AC or not. Josh is who I would talk to. He does great work and will work with you in every way he can. He is doing mine for me and I am keeping my AC.

If you V-band the Factory truck manifolds will it work with retaining your a/c? Modular Turbo V-bands them for $150 if you have the factory truck manifolds and i think $250-300 if they include the manifolds. They've been used on a lot of builds on here and have been proven to handle 1000hp. Hope this helps

quick way to find out if its ebay or not ,,, on the v-band clamps (on the ebay)they put a ny-lock nut (plastic melts from heat) instead of a stainless nut ..this is what i have noticed on copies

The welds break due to cheap materials, put a magnet on it I bet it sticks... just brittle stuff.

I take it as I shouldn't buy it then. I don't wanna buy a cheap kit that won't last and will hurt my wallet when it ***** something up. I appreciate the help guys! Guess I'll just use truck manifolds or keep an eye out for a used kit in the classifieds.
