Default Ever been attempted with 4th gen?

ive always like when a car has a blower coming out of the hood.

my favorites are the blowers with the three hole/flaps
(i dont know the proper term)

So i looked and couldnt find pics of late 4th gens with that kind of setup.

Anybody know if its been tried? here are some examples of what i mean

Im going to guess its because of the windshield and cowl going over the rear of the intake preventing this from being easilly done

Meh....looks good on older muscle cars maybe but looks pretty silly on those late models IMO...

You are going to have to cut your cowl and windsheild. Then your going to have to convert to carbureted. I'm sure "The Blower Shop" would help you with an adaptor for a 6-71 blower setup. Any is possible with enough hard work and money, but this project will take a lot of both. It would be really cool to see it done. Good luck

If you're going to do it, don't be a fucktard and just put one of the gimpy '3 hole' scoops on top of a set of carbs. You're asking about an Enderle style scoop, whether it be a bug, bird, or buzzard catcher. Yes, other companies make them as well, but that is what they are commonly refered to as. Designed for mechanical fuel injection systems. I have seen several set up for EFI as well.

As stated, it will take significant work to happen on an fourth gen F-body, but yes, it can be done.

The sad thing is, to build SERIOUS power with a roots style supercharger, there is typically a significant amount of blower set-back. Not an easy task on a fourth gen. But, I'm guessing you aren't really after that? More about looks than anything?

That looks pretty silly on a 4th gen. That setup looks sweet on a 1st gen though.

Not a fan of the bug catchers on a 4th gen either but I think a low profile twin screw stickin out a little would look pretty cool on a ws6.

I remember seeing pics of a red c5 vette like that back in the day, looked sweet.
