I just installed a LG G5XB camshaft in my 02 C5Z. I am planning on installing a supercharger on the car and wanted to pull my ECS n/a camshaft and replace it with a blower type cam.
My old n/a setup:
1. Vararam CAI with powerduct
2. FAST 92mm Intake with LS2 TB
3. ECS "Big NA" Camshaft
4. SLP UD pulley
5. ARH 1 7/8" long tubes and 3" x-pipe with no cats
My new setup
1. Vararam CAI and powerduct
2. LS6 Intake with stock TB
3. LGM G5XB camshaft
4. Stock crank pulley
5. ARH 1 7/8" long tubes and 3" x-pipe with no cats
SAE DYNO GRAPH / BLUECAT TUNING

The G5XB drives very nice with no low rpm/low speed bucking. As you can see i gave up 30hp up top but the car feels way better in the low/mid range. Great camshaft for someone wanting a blower cam with great street manners/nice lope. Looking forward to adding boost now.

Would have been fun to see what the G5XB would have done with the FAST intake/TB and the UD pulley. Def would have made a true comparo between the cams. BUT the fast did lose a few hp/tq here and there down low when compared to the stock ls6/tb down low. Looking at the the blue and red lines you can see the diff between the FAST combo and the LS6 combo.
