so i have the money for one of these two setups and was going to buy a procharger kit and currently still want to but after doing some research on turbo vs super i want to ask the rest of ls1 nation there opinion. not looking for a super vs turbo battle thread just honest info. was going to do procharger d1sc on 8 rib system but ive seen two turbo setups that caught my eye. the infamous sts and kentucky turbos a/c street strip setup. heres the facts. i have an 01 ss with lid, 85 mm tb, bbk ssi intake, bbk lt's and a cutout with a corsa catback. i want to make close to (hopefully above) 500rwp and i want plenty of low end torque, will be dd and will be a street car never seeing the track. so people with either of these two turbos how was the install and what was needed that wasnt advertised.

 

im looking for easy install, nothing needing custom fabrication and welding

 

any thoughts?

 

you cant go wrong with one of kytp kits he makes some sweet kits.

are the KYTP turbo kits pretty straightforward to install, like a procharger kit is?

I'm still trying to decide on an F1 series procharger or a KYTP turbo kit myself.
