Procharger Custom Kit Install .... Advice?

Default Procharger Custom Kit Install .... Advice?

Guys Ive been toying around with the idea of supercharging my stock motor 2002 WS6 Transam. That being said I have a price on a kit and I'm thinking I may want to do this piece meal. So right now Ive decided to get the Procharger D-1SC headunit and the Aster bracket. If you could do it all from scratch where would you go from here? I mean you know the setup, what is your suggestion on what to get next? I have read alot of posts of people buying kits and then changing alot of it excep for the headunit. Let me know your thoughts, at first Im gonna run 8lbs of boost till I build out a forged motor. so this kits needs to be able to move to the new motor once its built.

Sounds like you are on the right path. With the 8 rib, you need an ati balancer and 8 rib crank pulley or custom crank pulley, correct? I would also pick up the race BBV and an ebay intercooler and piping. Dont forget about all the supporting mods..fuel pump, map sensor (if needed), etc.

What Race BBV ? or do you mean BOV?

The big red procharger boost bypass valve/blow off valve.

Maybe twin intank pumps and 80lb'ers. That way you got room to grow when you want to up the boost.

If you just plan on just making 500-600hp with 7-8lbs and not increasing boost later what are the real benefits to running a fmic vs the 3.5 highflow twins?
