which spring in oil pump?

Default which spring in oil pump?

Setup forged 370 D1sc 15-16 psi

Simple ? hopefully lol I got the melling 10295 pump it came with the high pressure red spring and std blue spring.. which should I use? Is there such thing as too much oil pressure?

I always install the "blue" spring in all my builds that get a Melling oil pump. The "red" spring does produce alot more pressure. A #10296 pump would have been a better choice imo with your build.

I want the 10296 but I can't sell this 10295 and can't send it back cause it was a gift I dnt even know where its from lol company wise but its brand new in box both springs and o rings in package with instructions. I wonder if a vendor on here would accept it and let me pay them the diff and them send me a 10296 even though it wasn't purchased from them?
