Default would you run this engine FI?

thought I got a good deal on a 6.0 lol

got it home and it wouldnt spin 360degrees.

pulled the pan, and number two rod is bent.

crank looks perfect, bearings look perfect, bore is good and the other rods are fine. engine spins over fine now.

what I want to know is, is this a sign of something a lot worse, or could I just replace that rod and go ahead with my plans.

Any rust in cyl to indicate water caused the bent rod, if not then maybe blown head gasket? Id look for reasons to explain that first. If all else seems good then atleast a teardown to verify the others are good and replace all bearings n rings. Engine replacement isnt impossible but deff not the easiest to do, Id make sure that my time was well spent on labor like that...

there is no rust in the cylinder that I noticed.

Im ok removing each rod individually and replacing bearings etc if I have to , what im curious to know is can the rest of the parts still be good if one rod got bent?

I just bent a rod in my low mile LY6! I left the injectors powered after taking the power off the MS box, trying to debug other EMI issues with rpm spikes/dropouts, evidently that can hang injectors open. If there is something stupid that can be done, I'll do it. Anyway I bent a rod because one of the cylinders filled up with gasoline. I replaced the rod with the engine still in the car and it runs good as new again. I'd replace that rod and plastigage some of the mains around it if you're nervous the crank has issues.
