15psi G-trim combo
It's a pretty mild combo compared to some guys out there.
Combo is 348ci, stock cam with 918 springs, modified MAC headers into 3" Y into 4" mufflex.
mild ported 98 ls1 heads with 73cc chambers.About 9.5 compression. MrGasket MLS head gaskets.
fuel system is 42lb lucas at 62psi WOT,aeromotive pump and reg, mallory billet rails, 10an pump feed,8an to rails and 6an return.
Custom alcohol injection system.
G-trim with 2.5" 8rib pulley and 8" crank.
4" inlet ducting to blower with 2.5" to throttle body. No intercooler.
Used cam2 100 octane gas and 15gph denatured alky.
10.0-10.5 A-F ratio. 16 degrees timing at peak torque and 22 at peak power.
Hits 15 psi at about 6400rpm. Charge temps around 170' at 100mph in top of 2nd with 45' ambient. However cruise IAT was 128 before the run. Blower is spinning to 70,500 rpm. AND no belt slip to speak of. Vortech did one heck of a job with their drive system.
With stock Vortech ducting it hit 13psi last year. So the little G-trim is held back a bit with the stock inlet plumbing at max blower speeds.
Feels very strong and power hits hard and instantly
Hoping for ET'S in the bottom 10's after a 9" with spooled 3.50 gears replace the 10bolt and 2.73's.
Steve
What size is the stock drive pulley for the vortech unit.
Can you send me some info on your 8" or would you want to sell your stock one,, (if its smaller than 8")
Ryan <-- still trying to slowly piece together my G trim kit.

Steve
When you said 8" it sounded like you were talking custom. But that is great results, using just the stock one, and a smaller blower pulley.
Those are very impressive results
Always nice to push what most people think is the maximum from a product. Ryan.
